I got involved with web soduku last week and so far I have done a puzzle a day and I am really enjoying it. The rate of pressing the "how I am doing " button has gone down and my time is getting better.
Any recommendations for books on sudoku strategy? |

I'd recommend not buying any. The ones that I've seen have very little detail of solving strategies and are not as good as information that is freely available on the web.
There are various sites listing strategies. My favourite would be at http://www.sudokuwiki.org/sudoku.htm |

Thanks for the heads up. I would like to practice sudoku by hand. Do you have any recommendations for a practice book of puzzles or will any sudoku book do?

I can't help you there I'm afraid. I've only ever done one or two out of books. It'll really just be a case of finding a book that caters for your current skill level with, hopefully, some harder ones as you improve. |
