Got to thank you, cgorab, for posting this evil to the forum. Not that I'm one to time myself, rather I print out and work on 'em on paper with pencil, writing in the options and erasing as I figure out the steps.
Always trying, but this one, cgorab, was the first ever that I've been able to get to the solution without penciling in at all! So what was your "personal best" was mine as well.
The box of nine in the middle on the right side was my main helper. Had to keep in mind the three pairs that I could visualize there: two 6-9s, two 2-7s and two 3-8s. For once I didn't write them in, but sorted out the single numbers as though they were there.
You might want to read over the thread "Interesting evils" in this section of the forum. Great comments by Rob and tman, and some suggestions of evils that may even better your time.
