the puzz(es) is that more then one? in websudoku are relatively easy and tru a guess is not needed if you have been doing them for awhile but my question remains unanswered.....other then the given numbers provided any other number put in the grid other then what you figured to possibly or truly be a lead to solving the cell could be called cheating or guessing...example ......the grid shows me the givens and i no i can clic solve next step and next step etc because they are ones that require no knowledge and from there you worked the puzz BUTTTT the numbers you had the program put in for you to save time would still be politically incorrect....if you put them in yourself you could possible error one...i do them on paper so i may talk a bit different then those that do on the comp...and speed is never my point ...its simply to find the end of the puzz.....i may be a master to web but im just above normal in the fact that i use knowledge/obvious and a system to solving them and i get the answer without a solver .....and im sure some fall under W.A.G but i can usually if a few places will get me there safe |

I am with "skull" (#15 reply). I sometimes have to pick one of the two choices and play it out. If it doesn't fit, I try the other option. I am still using logic to put the other answers in. I just don't always see a clue to help me make the choice. But then, I haven't studied all the techniques in detail. In some ways it is like chess, you can learn the strategies. And by the way, I sign my website as "The Sudoku Master" too. And I thought I was so clever...

ALL sudoku puzzles can be solves using logic. You just have to know what logic to use, and sometimes have superhuman abilities to spot it.
Refer to the Sudoku Snake list of logical solving techniques. No puzzle has yet been discovered that can not be solved using them.
